Get a taste of one of the most famous landmarks in South Africa with so much to do… experience… enjoy and see! Adventure – Sky diving, shark diving, paragliding, hiking Table Mountain or other hiking routes, ship wreck diving, boat trips, game drive and just horse riding along the beach at sunset!

Culture too much to mention – from shack informal settlements to 1600’s settlements of Europeans! From remains of the old Castle that once protected the Cape to the Robben Island History of the Struggle for democracy. Food has a real new meaning with international flavors and traditional impacts like our wines and cheeses along many wine routes.

  5. Wine Tours – Fairview has a variety of tasting experiences with wine and cheese pairing, chocolate, craft beers and the goats. On the red bus you can stop at Constantia and enjoy the experience of the first wine farms in the Cape.
  6. Boulders host the biggest African Penguin family and in summer you can take a swim with them.


Day 1 Potchefstroom/Johannesburg

Early morning on Day 1 (around 7am) we depart Potchefstroom or Johannesburg, the city of expertise and head off the east on the N12 – to OR Tambo to catch a non-service flight to Cape Town. On arrival you are welcome to rent a vehicle or take a bus or taxi to your booked accommodation. We can arrange a transfer to the hotel as well @ R1200.

Activity: Take the red bus to the V&A Waterfront for a trip to Robben Island or some action and dinner. Pre book please for your account @ R300pp. The last trip leaves at 15:00 to Robben Island.

Day 2 Explore the Cape on the Red Bus

One ticket for all bus tours: Your ticket gives you access to all our bus tours in Cape Town, which means it’s valid across the Red City Tour, Blue Mini Peninsula Tour, Yellow Downtown Tour and the Purple Wine Tour. In Joburg, you can explore the inner city on our Red City Tour.

Hop on, hop off: Explore Cape Town and Johannesburg at your own pace. Buy one ticket and hop on and off at any of our exciting stops. Your ticket is valid all day, so you can take your time to explore your favourite attractions. Be sure to check the timetable and stop signage for departure times.

Audio commentary in 15 languages: Be sure to collect your complimentary pair of earphones when you purchase your ticket and enjoy our recorded audio commentary of your tour.

Commentary is available in English, Afrikaans, Arabic, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Zulu. We also have a special channel for kids.

This is your opportunity to stop at Table Mountain, Hout Bay, Constantia, Kirstenbosch and the V&A.

Day 3 Wine Tour

You can sleep in, and after a relaxing breakfast we will book you on a wine tour with an established tour operator/guide.

Optional Activities: Tasting at each vineyard will be for your own account but Fairview is included.

Activity: Visit Fairview and two to three other wine farms.

Day 4 Last day Shopping

After breakfast you can book out and leave your luggage at the front desk to pick up later. We will arrange a transfer to the airport for you departure not later than 14:00 or you can take your luggage along.

You can take the shuttle to the market and do some last minute shopping or do the things you missed out on due to weather or just relax on the beach and little street restaurants. You can even try some shark diving in cages. Or take a tour to Cape Point.

You fly back to OR Tambo in Johannesburg at 16:00 to arrive at 18:00 where Mag Tours driver will be waiting to bring you back to Potchefstroom to arrive at about 21:00.
